IN the Goods of Mary Bass late of the parish of Lympstone in Devon Spinster Deceased In the Archdeacon’s Court of Exeter

Appeared personally Anna Sophia Fley of Lympstone aforesaid widow the sole Executrix and Residuary Legatee named in the last Will and Testament of the said Mary Bass deceased who died on the 22nd ---- Day of May 1826 and made Oath, that She hath made diligent search and due enquiry after, and in respect of the Personal Estate and Effects of the said Deceased, in order to ascertain the full Amount and Value thereof; and that to the best of her knowledge, information, and belief, the whole of the Goods, Chattles, and Credits, of which the said Deceased Died, possessed within the Archdeaconry of Exeter, (exclusive of what the Deceased may have of, or intitled to as a Trustee for any other Person or Persons, and not beneficially, and without deducting any Thing on Account of the Debts due and owing from the Deceased, are under the Value of Two Hundred Pounds ---- to the best of this Deponents Knowledge, Information, and Belief. And this Deponent further maketh Oath and Saith that the said deceased was not in possession of or entitled to any Leasehold Estate or Estates for years either absolute or determinable on lives to the best of this Deponents Knowledge information & belief

This is the last Will and Testament of Miss Mary Bass of the Parish of Lympston in the County of Devon.

First I hereby give and bequeath unto my Sister Anna Sophia Fley All my two Messuages or Dwelling Houses now in the Occupation of myself and Sister lying and being in the Village of Lympstone with the Walled Garden Cellars & all the Appurtenances thereunto belonging to the only proper use & behoof of my said Sister Anna Sophia Fley her Heirs and Assigns forever.

And I hereby appoint my said Sister my sole Executrix and residuary Legatee

and I give and bequeath unto my said Sister All my Personal Effects and Property which I may be possessed of or which may become due and owing to me at my death, Subject to the Payment of all my just Debts and funeral Expences

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal this sixth day of May 1826
