Parkhouse Surname Clusters in Devon
Steve Parkhouse has kindly allowed me to use his PARKHOUSE surname cluster maps to demonstrate how the surname is distributed across Devon and Somerset in different time periods. These maps are based on the frequency of occurrence of the PARKHOUSE surname in Devon and Somerset parish records of baptisms, marriages, and burials over the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.

If you can trace your PARKHOUSE ancestry back to one of these clusters, would you like me to include your name and e-mail address as a contact link to that cluster? If so, contact me (see below)

[It is hoped that this way of displaying the e-mail address would defeat any automatic search for e-mail addresses based on looking for the '@' sign. Should you not be concerned about your e-mail address being "harvested", then of course a clickable link could be provided.]
If you have entries of PARKHOUSE births/baptisms and marriages not already included in the International Genealogical Index (IGI) and any deaths/burial entries, Steve Parkhouse would like to include them in his cluster map database. Steve Parkhouse has kindly offered to supply a copy of his database of baptism and marriage entries (1640 to 1840) to anyone who requests it.
Credits: Steve Parkhouse devised and produced the PARKHOUSE cluster maps, Ian Sergeant for encouraging the idea to show the cluster maps here.
